Jenkshi was born under the wild moons of the Azimme Steppe as the only known offspring of his Buduga father. A product of a fling from a Chaghan mother, who he never learned to know. He was a bastard son, a “worthless spawn” and a child would never receive the affection or approval one deserved. And this emotional burden is one he carried on into life. It’s a past and name he would hope to forget....

Coming from an alternate shard, one that is an exact copy of the one we know, has left a huge pit in Crux’s mental and physical state. Imagine waking up in another’s bed and finding the world so similar yet having its own twists to the history you knew before.Because of his past ties with the Void and its denizens, it has landed him a spot that had ripped him away from the life he knew. » Aetheric Instability
During the Dragonsong War, the young au ra took on a job to hunt down a dangerous mark. Crux made a guess he could handle te Atomos on his own, and he did, slaying the beast and collecting the crystal left by it for himself. Unknown to him the crystal would transport him yalms away and force him to see forgotten dreams. The moment is vaguely remembered and the only visible mark left was his aetheric instability. Severely tainted, it left the man only with enough Aether to survive day to day and rely on donations of aether when he bit his pride to ask for help. As a former black mage, the inability to call upon aether to cast a spell shattered his world.

Though Crux may not be the founder of The Anti, he is the one in charge of its core care.
Just like during his hunts, he takes the brunt of the work to keep it going. In a way, it’s like a way to get by and forget his current struggles. Especially if it was a means to make a living for himself if he is to remain in this Source...The Anti is a way to give back to those that have helped him through tough times, and a way to help him move on...

“If I die, that would mean my life has no more worth than what was given to me.”So if one couldn’t drown his sorrows in drinks, perhaps putting his life on the line would fill that void? How about hunting the very things that ruined his life? Perhaps the Voidsent will give him an answer to solve his problems. Or perhaps everything was an excuse? So as an excuse to test his fate, Crux rarely turned down a job brought to him. If it would be the end of his story, so be it. What once was a job became an addiction, past lives trauma turned into this new “obsessive hobby”, as unhealthy as it was in this new world dragged to him.
